Amanda Daniels, Photographer
We took a lot of pictures growing up in my family. Mostly snapshots and nearly all of them awkward. Every milestone, family gathering and birthday was captured on film. Needless to say my fascination with photography began at an early age. I photographed my first wedding at 19 and decided it was time to change my college major. I left design school for Hallmark Institute of Photography where I studied portraiture.
I’ve been a professional portraiture photographer now for thirteen years, and one of the favorite parts of my job is learning about the people I photograph and being welcomed into their life like family. Capturing their milestones makes me happy doing for them what was so much a part of my childhood. Besides photography I also have an appreciation for fashion and design, and enjoy baking, and cooking dinner for my husband.
